DESCRIPTION
Ix Chel is the Mayan moon goddess of fertility, weaving and procreation. On the coin, she appears as the young sensual woman, who represents life and healing. “Lady Rainbow” holds the rabbit in her hand and has a coiled snake headdress that are her main symbols. She is pouring a large amount of water, which in collaboration with a serpent, thought to represent the famous destructive deluge.
