DESCRIPTION
This impressive 1 oz coin is dedicated to the Campo del Cielo meteorite, which is well-known for its massive crater.
Campo del Cielo is considered to be the second-largest meteorite ever found. This meteorite is exceptional. Its fragments have healing properties.
“Campo del Cielo” or “The Field of Heaven” is the name of an area where the pieces of this meteorite crashed into the Earth’s surface approximately 4000-5000 years ago. In all likelihood, some local tribes were the witnesses of this event and then told about this catastrophe in their legends. It seems that the meteorite exploded in the atmosphere and shattered into thousands of pieces because the whole area of the meteorite debris field was more than 60 km in size.
The reverse of the coin shows a beautiful space view with the Campo del Сielo meteorite impact. The coin is made out of 999 genuine meteorites, and it looks exactly how it should look, with all imperfections, irregular surface, small cracks, kind of scratches and anything else that you find on a meteorite slice – all this is the concept of this coin. The coin has an impressive colouration, that makes the image of impact very realistic. All around, there is a particular background. The coin’s obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
It is a very unusual and valuable coin for collectors, as it is made out of 999 genuine meteorites. Besides, the coin has a Chromonite colouration. The mintage is limited to only 842 pieces for global distribution!
The Campo Del Cielo coin is highly appreciated in investing in collectable low mintage coins, so do not lose the opportunity to buy this amazing coin!
